Oh, deer! Glitter reindeer canvas DIY

I have been intending to make this glitter reindeer since I saw it on Pinterest last Christmas. Oh, deer! 

Thought it was about time I actually completed this little project, so Jill came over and we worked our magic on some holiday crafts. Here's how I did my version:

Materials
* One burlap canvas- mine is 8x10, found at Michael's.
* Loose gold glitter
* Clear Elmer's glue
* Reindeer shape (from Daisy Dreaming)

Instructions

*Print out and cut out the reindeer with scissors or an xacto knife.

* Trace the reindeer shape, in pen, onto the canvas. 

* Little by little, outline the shape of the deer with glue and then sprinkle glitter. If you put all the glue on and THEN the glitter, the glue will dry, so go slow! You'll need to repeat with the whole interior of the shape.

* Prop on a shelf. That's it!

So easy right? It took 15 minutes total. Good thing there were Christmas carols + mint M&Ms to keep us going ;)
